Last week, BaxEnergy and WiSNAM attended Milano Digital Week hosted in the heart of the new Microsoft House. “In the end, the things we do seem too far away from the perception of common people” said Vincenzo Carbone, Business Success Officer at BaxEnergy, summarizing the experience. “We had the chance to meet dads who just deployed kids to an Xbox and talk to moms helping children with digital whiteboards. More importantly, we had the chance to talk to them about energy and environment in a convivial and breezy way.”
BaxEnergy and WiSNAM equipped the Microsoft Tech Center with proprietary sensors to monitor room occupancy and a number of environmental parameters such as noise, lighting, temperature and carbon-dioxide. Nicolò Savalli, CEO of WiSNAM, was proud of the feedback. “It was gratifying for us” he said “to see amusement in the face of people when they looked at the numbers detected by our sensors and even more when they experimented the degree of control that IoT solutions can provide in everyday life.”
