Catania, Italy, May 8th, 2025 – BaxEnergy, a Yokogawa company and full-service partner of renewable energy power companies, announces the launch of its Renewable Energy Management Solutions (REMS) portfolio at BaxSummit 2025. New to the market is Farsight®, a freemium Asset Performance Management (APM) platform designed for independent power producers (IPPs) and operators of wind, solar, storage and hybrid assets.
Unveiled today during BaxSummit 2025, an exclusive international event hosted in Acireale to mark BaxEnergy’s 15th anniversary and its growing synergy with Yokogawa, BaxEnergy has become a central part of Yokogawa Electric’s Energy & Sustainability (E&S) Division. Empowering Grid Intelligence with BaxEnergy PPC and PXiSE Technology
BaxEnergy also introduced its Power Plant Controller (PPC) to the market – enabling operators’ precise control over voltage, frequency, active/reactive power, and power factor to maintain grid compliance and maximize performance. The PPC facilitates smooth integration and energy flow between Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and renewable sources. This technology has been incorporated from PXiSE Energy Solutions, a Yokogawa acquisition, reinforcing BaxEnergy’s offering with proven micro-grid control and energy-shifting capabilities.

BaxSummit 2025 – Celebrating 15 Years of Innovation and Global Expansion
At the heart of BaxSummit 2025 was the unveiling of BaxEnergy’s new comprehensive REMS portfolio –marking the company’s evolution into a full-service partner for renewable energy power companies. The event also saw the announcement of BaxEnergy’s entry into the North American market, a key component of its international expansion to support energy players globally.
In addition, the creation of the Executive Customer Advisory Board (ECAB) was revealed – a strategic initiative designed to bring together leading voices in the sector to shape the direction of BaxEnergy’s future technologies, driven by real-world needs and insights.
The celebration concluded with a memorable Anniversary Party held at Opificium, a striking industrial-chic venue in Acireale.
