As solar power becomes increasingly central to Europe’s decarbonisation strategy, the challenge is no longer limited to deploying additional photovoltaic capacity. The next phase of the sector’s development will depend on the ability to coordinate solar generation, battery storage, grid infrastructure and digital technologies within increasingly distributed energy systems.
