Barcelona/Spain, November 2016: During the three days of exhibition, BaxEnergy showcases its turnkey solutions, moving towards a sustainable future
The European Utility Week in Barcelona is the leading event for the energy community in Europe and this year was celebrated with three extraordinary days of exhibition, which brought together industry leaders, energy professionals, start-up and young talents to drive the industry forward and shape our new energy future.
This fair represents a unique innovation and information platform, which connects the World’s most successful utilities and solution providers: visitors were given a detailed insight into projects that are transforming the energy sector, and BaxEnergy participated among the frontrunners in the “Energy Revolution” pavilion where the latest developments in grid optimization, energy storage, smart metering and smart cities were presented along with solutions for energy efficiency, BigData analytics and Internet of Things (Iot).

The event organizational committee selected BaxEnergy as Game Changer among over 600 exhibitors showcasing their solutions across the entire smart energy value chain, from transmission to end-user. BaxEnergy shared with visitors its pioneering vision of a greener World through its innovative turn-key solutions: Energy Studio Pro®, the industry leading platform capable to unify under one roof all renewable energy technologies and manufactures; AsseStack™, the latest asset management system, the Business Values Monitoring services; the Industrial Head Up Display (HUD) Platform – for augmented reality designed to change the future of Operation & Maintenance (O&M).
BaxEnergy also showcased the latest product lines based of IoT devices for power plants data acquisition. In the era of BigData, BaxEnergy makes the difference by digitizing renewable energy assets and implementing an independent and secure end-to-end data acquisition chain. The added value of BaxEnergy resides in the data modeling technology that, starting from the sensors in the power plants, allows to create a unique view of all assets regardless of the technologies (wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, combined cycle) and across manufacturers.
Andreas Berthold-van der Molen, BaxEnergy Chief Success Officer, during the “Sustainable Solution” panel at the European Utility Week 2016.
BaxEnergy’s booth offered a vibrant networking spot with a continuous flow of visitors, coming from all over the World, and key representatives of the renewable energy sector: from C-level experts to O&M managers, from executives to universities researchers and scientists.
If tradeshows are the suitable location for expanding and generating new business relations, partnership and customers contacts, they are also the right environment to exchange experience, know-how and move forwards knowledge and science. This happened also in the “Sustainable Solution” panel where Andreas Berthold-van der Molen, Chief Success Officer at BaxEnergy, addressed the issue of how to combine sustainable business models with environmental growth: “This is the right time to move towards a sustainable reality, investing more and more into renewable resources and energies.”
As the World sees how the energy industry is changing, BaxEnergy is shaping the road to the next revolution era and “Our participation at the European Utility Week acted as a catalyst for further innovation, projects and ideas which will be brought into reality in the very near future”, says Simone Massaro, BaxEnergy CEO.
