BaxEnergy will join the 23rd edition of the ICCI, the leading International Energy and Environment Fair and Conference that will take place at Istanbul Expo Center.
As energy sector is rapidly evolving, energy players need to discuss and confront with the latest developments and trends of the energy industry. Within this framework, the ICCI becomes one of the most effective international meeting points bringing together decision makers, technical and scientific actors as well as public, private and academic institutions on the energy platform.
Turkey is one of the fastest growing energy markets in the World. Thanks to its strategic location, the Country is the main energy hub of the whole Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region. With the aim to reduce energy dependence from fossil fuels, diversifying the energy mix and combating climate change, Turkey is doubling its efforts to reach its energy target of the 47 GW of renewable installed capacity by 2020. To make this happen, the National Plan issued by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources sets the increase of renewables’ share up to 30% of electricity generation, bringing hydroelectric power to 29.000 MW, wind energy to 15.000 MW and solar energy to 3.000 MW.
