Milano/Italy, June 2017: The Italian widest Digital Innovation Competition awards BaxEnergy’s Large Scale IoT Monitoring System Project as outstanding example of a challenge turned into a success in the energy industry
The Digital360 Awards is the new ground-breaking achievement for BaxEnergy that comes out on top of the second edition of the Italian widest event dedicated to honour revolutionary projects in the field of digital transformation and open innovation.
More than 150 participants from the entire industry value chain have joined the competition, confronting themselves and presenting their initiatives, solutions and ideas to a jury of over 50 C-level executives representing the most prominent companies, utilities, banks as well as exponents from public administrations and private sector.
“The digital environment and the entrepreneurial innovation, which leverages on edge technologies, are experiencing a particular vibrant and significant moment in Italy that is fundamental to foster a pioneering spirit and a culture of best practices among all the actors of the industry market,” says Andrea Rangone, CEO of the Digital360 Group. Thus, innovation, replicability and scalability have been the key criteria at the basis of competition in order to reward those projects able to develop innovative platforms that make technology available in the most different areas of the daily life.
After an initial tough selection, only 28 finalist companies have attended the pitching session of June 7th, and on June 28th the closing ceremony in Milano the jury has awarded BaxEnergy as winner of the “Utility & Energy” special prize. The Large Scale IoT Monitoring System Project has been recognised as an outstanding implementation of the next-gen asset management and content delivery platform to keep developing innovation turned into technology provided to all the line of business.
