From 26th to 28th November 2020, New Delhi will be the stage of an international conference, the 3rd Global RE-INVEST Renewable Energy Investors Meet & Expo.
The digital summit will bring together global innovators, technology leaders, entrepreneurs, policy makers and eminent academics with the purpose of contributing to efforts to scale up the development of renewable energy and to connect the global investment community with Indian renewable energy stakeholders.
During the last six years, India’s renewable energy capacity has increased by two & half times. “Our resolute and rapid strides in the field of renewable energy have encouraged us to extend our goal of the renewable energy installed capacity from 175 gigawatts by 2022 to 450 gigawatts by 2030. Due to such big steps, India is being considered as the most attractive market for clean energy” said Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India.
The latter has inaugurated the event on Thursday, 26th November, together with Prime Ministers of Israel, Netherlands, Denmark and Maldives.
Friday 27th will be dedicated to panels and conferences about the future of solar energy, green trading, grid balancing and women in renewable energy, among the others.
On Saturday 28th, BaxEnergy’s CEO, Simone Massaro, will take part as a speaker to two panels: “CEO’s Dialogue” and “Building a World-Class Technology & R&D in Renewable Energy”.
The first session will be an exclusive leaders’ forum which will focus on developing a long-term policy framework for growth of renewables. Entrepreneurs and experts will deliberate about the role of the private sector, innovation & technology in renewables, best practices around the world, emerging business models and financing of the renewable sector.
During the second plenary session, participants will discuss how to strengthen R&D across the lifecycle of infrastructure and assets. In fact, with new technologies replacing traditional ways of generating power, innovative solutions are required to enhance the performance and efficiency of renewable energy generation assets. Eng. Massaro will open the session, introducing the disruptive possibilities of digitalization in renewable energy.
