Uniper cooperates with BaxEnergy for cross-technology asset performance management

• BaxEnergy will support the development of Uniper’s renewable energy business by providing a secure, unified platform for cross-technology asset performance management.

Catania, Italy, 28 April, 2025 – BaxEnergy, a Yokogawa company and full-service partner of renewable energy power companies worldwide, today announced a collaboration with Uniper. BaxEnergy will support the scale-up of Uniper’s renewable energy division by enabling the integration and operational deployment of its planned portfolio of solar, wind, and battery energy storage system (BESS) assets across Europe. 

Uniper, a European energy company based in Düsseldorf, Germany, is committed to expanding its renewable portfolio across Europe, focusing on the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Hungary, and Poland.

Scalable and Future-Ready BaxEnergy’s modular and cloud-native platform is designed to scale with the customers’ needs. As Uniper works toward its 10 GW ready-to-build portfolio target by the early 2030s, the partnership ensures that every new asset—regardless of location or technology—can be seamlessly onboarded, monitored, and optimized within a single unified system.

With this collaboration, BaxEnergy will provide Uniper with a fully integrated ecosystem comprising Energy Studio Pro®, which will maximise asset availability through real-time analytics and data-driven decision-making.
